Max Cohen is a trans woman, poet, and musician living in Chicago. She received her MFA in Poetry from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and has work published in Ninth Letter, Sixth Finch, and Cosmonauts Avenue. She also hosts a podcast on band discographies called Desert Island Discourse with Andrew Cothren.
